Our Church

So, this is my first time attempting to put a video on the blog, and I hope it works. I thought I'd show you all where we go to church. It's within about a five minute walk from the Vargas' house, but a hard five minutes of up-hill breathlessness for me (still getting used to the altitude).

It may or may not interest you to know that Monday, September 21st, is kind of the Bolivian equivalent of Valentine's Day - it's the day of love, of spring, and of students. It's a day off from school, so that's a good thing too!

Hoping you are all well,
Love Rachael

Way to go! You are so computer-literate! I love you, and I could only watch the clip and guess what you were saying. As of yet, my computer's sound card has not recognized my authority as well as my cd player did. Hee hee. I am saving for a lappy!

It's kinda like Oaklands, up on a hill that you can view the city from.

How is Bolivian-almost-Valentines-day celebrated? Spring in September, the southern hemisphere really *is* upside down. There seems to be absolutely no hills in Toronto, at least as far as I've found! It's bizarre! But it certainly makes walking pleasant, cause I don't end up running out of breath (I can do that without an altitude adjustment...)

Loved the video - please do more (if it's not too much trouble) - didn't realize the church was so big.
How are you doing with the contract you have with Jeremy? - bet he loves being policeman!
Hasta luego (hope I spelt that right)

The video turned out great! What an inspiring location for a Church. Yes, I agree; more videos!
Love you tons, Rach!

What great footage, you are multi-talented! Hope you had a great day on the 21st. That was Kevin's first pro-d day, so he was off school that day too! Hope that you get adjusted to the altitude soon.
Love you, Aunt Wendy
